Preconditioning Certificates
Electronic certificates for Iowa's Preconditioning Calf Certificate Program
GlobalVetLink, in partnership with the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) offers an electronic option for writing "Green" and "Gold" tag certificates to prove compliance with the Iowa Preconditioning Calf Program. The GVL system offers live validation features to ensure the certificate is filled out in its entirety. The database stores all owner information to use from year to year, and also stores animal group information for use on a health certificate if one is required.
In addition to the time saving features of creating the certificate, it improves efficiency from an administrative standpoint, as the certificates are electronically available to the IVMA for their review. This electronic availability eliminates the need to mail certificates and assists in traceability in the case of an animal disease outbreak.
