What We Heard at AAEP 2025

by Ali Oaks | December 17, 2025

The atmosphere at the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Annual Convention in Denver was electric, and we hope you had a productive and insightful experience at the show!

We had an incredible time connecting with equine professionals at booth #2321. After speaking with hundreds of people like yourself, a few key themes came up again and again. We wanted to share them, as they may be on your mind as well.

🏃‍♀️ Fun & Fitness: The GVL 5K Fun Run

A huge highlight for the GlobalVetLink team was seeing so many dedicated faces at the starting line for the annual 5K Fun Run. There’s no better way to kick off a busy convention day than by sharing some crisp Denver air and a bit of friendly competition with our amazing community.

For us, it's more than just a race; it's a fantastic opportunity to step away from the convention floor and connect with colleagues and friends on a more personal level, united by the challenge and the early morning energy. Your participation and positive spirit made it a truly memorable morning, and we are so grateful to everyone who laced up their running shoes to join us!

✨ Your Challenges, Our Solutions

You spoke, we listened. Here are some of the biggest challenges we heard from you, and how GlobalVetLink is innovating to help.

1. The Challenge: Capturing Horse Info Offline

A common frustration we heard about was the challenge of capturing accurate horse information and photos in the field, especially when offline.

  • How We Can Help: The HorseSync Progressive Web Application (PWA) was a massive hit! It enables you to capture horse photos and essential information, such as age, breed, and gender, directly from your phone or tablet—without an internet connection. The data syncs seamlessly with your GlobalVetLink account whenever you're back online, streamlining the creation of digital CVIs and EIAs and saving you valuable time.

2. The Challenge: Complex Paperwork for Multiple Owners

Many of you mentioned the complexity of managing paperwork for horses with multiple owners or agents.

  • How We Can Help: Our Agent & Owner Workflow Improvements are designed to simplify this process. You can now assign multiple agents or owners to a single horse and generate multiple CVIs for horses managed by an agent, all within the GlobalVetLink platform. This delivers a smarter, more streamlined experience for both your clinic and your clients.

3. The Challenge: Tedious Animal ID Entry

We also heard about the tedious and error-prone process of adding animal IDs to CVIs.

❤️ You Love GVL and Our Support Team!

Beyond the new features, the two things we love to hear most were echoed on the floor: how much time GVL saves you and how much you appreciate our support team. From streamlining your day to being there when you need a helping hand, we are so proud to be a partner you can count on.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with the GlobalVetLink team. We're already looking forward to speaking with you again soon!
