Software Engineering Internship

Job Summary

Work with a team of software engineers, designers, and product managers to create, maintain, and modify software systems used by the animal health industry. Currently, these systems include organizational data management systems, compliance verification, and digital certificate creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineers and developers to write software according to specifications

  • Assist development support to diagnose and solve issues which require a deeper technical knowledge

  • Analyze problems and create project specifications based on requirements

  • Complete tasks assigned within sprint timeframe

Qualifications

  • Active pursuit of a BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field of study
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
