Software Test Engineer Internship

Job Summary

At GVL we believe that automated testing is the future! We not only empower vets with the latest tech, we also empower ourselves with the latest test automation. We’re looking for someone that can develop the code for the code. Someone that will be working hands-on developing our next generation of test suites. Test suites that target our applications for performance, stress, data, penetration, visual regression, and more. We’re looking for someone who enjoys scheming up ways to “break” things. Someone unafraid to ask and find answers to those “what if” questions. A curious mind that’s willing to dive into the unknown and wander both outside & inside the box.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members. 
  • Assist in designing quality processes & procedures.
  • Develop automated tests for new GVL features.
  • Reading test reports and evaluating root causes. 
  • Developing test scripts within GVL automated frameworks.
  • Using Javascript to create CI ready test scripts.
  • Build automation phases/tests for areas of focus. (as directed by QA Engineer)
  • Create & backfill automated tests for all GVL frameworks.
