Ames, Iowa – Brett Keirstead has joined animal health software company GlobalVetLINK (GVL®) as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), where he will oversee the sales, marketing and customer success teams.

“As we’ve continued to see the software industry shifting and the animal health industry adopting more online and mobile technology, we feel it’s the right time to bring in a CRO to continue building growth and oversee revenue activities, while still maintaining our customer focus,” said GlobalVetLINK CEO Cliff Smith. “With Brett’s extensive experience in leading successful go-to-market SaaS teams, he is an asset to the team in the role of CRO.”

Keirstead has over 20 years of experience in managing sales and marketing teams in a variety of technology and payroll organizations. Previously, Keirstead served as VP of Client Acquisition for Avionte, VP of Sales and Marketing for Knowledge Marketing and VP of Sales for Jobs2web/SuccessFactors.

On his new role, Keirstead said, “I am excited to work with the passionate folks at GlobalVetLINK to help lead expansion and continue providing clients with innovative animal wellness and safety solutions. GVL has developed and nurtured a close relationship with the animal health industry and our mission will be to strengthen our support for years to come.”
