GVL Offers Pilot of International Health Certificates (CVIs) Program

by | Nov 22, 2019 | Blog, Featured | 0 comments

We have heard from many veterinarians that helping their clients with international travel is stressful, complicated and confusing. The GVL team continues to work to understand our customers’ needs for simplified international health certificates and requirements.
We have partnered with Air Animal Pet Movers, a worldwide leader in pet movement documentation, to offer a limited number of GVL customers free international health certificate packages for client’s traveling to certain countries with a cat or dog.
How the program works
By participating in the pilot program, clinics will have access to one free international health certificate package.

This package is delivered to the clinic for the client’s health inspection visit. The complete package includes:

  • Instructions
  • Completed forms
  • Two pre-paid FedEx envelopes (one to send forms to USDA, one for USDA to send forms back)

Air Animal’s expertise is in international regulations for animal movement, so clinic staff won’t need to figure them out.

Just inspect, sign and send.

Qualifying animals and destinations
Species for the pilot program include: Canine or Feline only.

Movements must be from the U.S., and may include these destinations: European Union (excluding United Kingdom, Ireland, Northern Ireland); Mexico; Colombia; Brazil; Costa Rica.

How to participate
Users just need to log into their GVL account and click on International CVIs in the movement area of the platform.
