Pharmgate’s Aivlosin 17% Added to FeedLINK

by | May 2, 2016 | News | 0 comments

GlobalVetLINK (GVL®) added Pharmgate Animal Health’s Aivlosin® 17% to its FeedLINK® electronic Veterinary Feed Directive (eVFD) system. Aivlosin 17% Tylvalosin Type A Medicated Article for the control of Porcine Proliferative Enteritis (PPE) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis infection in swine is available with a VFD from a veterinarian.

The addition of Aivlosin 17% to FeedLINK provides veterinarians, producers and feed distributors with a complete solution for compliance with FDA guidance.

“GlobalVetLINK is the leader in digital animal health documentation, processing over one million transactions across multiple species groups last year,” said Cliff Smith, GVL Chief Executive Officer. “In order to provide the most accurate, reliable solution to support VFD compliance, GlobalVetLINK works with individual drug sponsors, like Phamgate, to assure each product label is correct and complete within FeedLINK to provide the most comprehensive solution in animal health.”

FeedLINK powered by GVL SmartEngine™ technology is a web-based system that streamlines fulfillment, tracking and storage of VFDs. Once a VFD is completed, the veterinarian can sign it and make it immediately available for the producer for record keeping and the feed manufacturer for fulfillment. Feed distributors can access their own account where received VFDs are stored, meeting VFD Rule requirements.

Patent-pending GVL SmartEngine technology, which powers the FeedLINK system, ensures that the vet inputs the correct information – species, production class, drug specifications – when creating a VFD and verifies the entire certificate for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
