Watch NowYou’ll follow the same process as creating a CVI for an owner. Once on the CVI create screen, in the Consignor/Owner box, search for the Agent. Once you select them, you’ll be able to add any of the animals associated with that Agent to the CVI.
You will be charged for as many CVIs as there are owners in the group. So if there are three different owners in the group of horses for which you create a CVI, then you will be charged for three CVIs.
To add a new destination address to an owner profile, click Actions > Add a location. This will allow you to add a new location to that Owner record. Once added, you can click Actions > Switch location to view and select the correct location.

Agents can view CVIs through their MyVetLink account. Ensure that you have their email address added to their contact record in your account, and they will be able to log into MyVetLink to view the completed CVIs for any animals they are listed as an Agent for.

Yes, once you add the animals to your GVL account, you can batch add the vaccination info. Navigate to the Animals page under Records, select the animals you need to add the vaccination info to, click Actions, and select Add vaccination. From there, enter the vaccination info and click save to add that info to all of the selected animals.
Yes, if you use the Estimated age or Estimated DOB fields, the age will automatically update. If you use the text description for age, the age will not update.
It will update once the birthdate saved to that animal profile has passed.
We suggest creating a new group of animals for each movement to preserve the animal data and allow for easy future reference if needed. In this case, we suggest creating a CVI template that contains all the CVI information (consignor, purpose of movement, etc.) that remains the same each time. Then, create a CVI from that template and add a new animal group.
Once you have created the group, navigate to the IDs section and select the types of IDs you want to use. Each ID type will be added as a column, with the fields below corresponding to the respective IDs.
Yes, you can copy and paste IDs from a spreadsheet into the animal group once you have created it. This Help Article explains the steps.
No, you do not have to scan IDs live. You can scan them and then download the IDs from the reader later to add to the CVI.
You can enter RFID tags from any manufacturer, but if scanning them while entering them in the CVI, they must all be compatible with the reader you have connected in order to be entered on the CVI.
You can get an RFID reader from a variety of manufacturers. The cost varies depending on the reader selected.
No, you will need an RFID reader in order to scan RFID tags.
