About John Jeffreys, RVT, CVPM, PHRca
John Jeffreys, RVT, CVPM, PHRca, is a Southern California native who has more than 25 years of veterinary experience. John brings a wealth of knowledge from his time as a Registered Veterinary Technician in emergency, specialty and general practice settings. John has worked in both corporate and privately owned practices. His diverse background has helped him to cultivate his own unique style of management.
In 2017, John was recognized as an Emerging Leader by his peers of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. John earned his Certification in Veterinary Practice Management in early 2018. That same year, John was named a Practice Manager of the Year finalist. In 2020, John earned his Professional Human Resources (California) certification. John is the current Practice Manager for Coastal Animal Hospital, which has a staff of about 40 people and locations in both Carlsbad and Encinitas. John shares his Carlsbad home with his husband, their 3 dogs and 5 cats. When not at work, John enjoys gardening, DIY projects and (pet-free) travel!
